Adding USA 5 Digit Centroids to Mapland gives you the capability to display pin point locations by 5 Digit Zip Code. You can use MapLand's Pin Map feature to display retail outlets or customer locations. The Geographic Workbooks contains over 50,000 5 Digit Zip Code Centroid locations.

With Mapland you can use the Distance tool to measure the Distance in Miles/kilometers between two 5 digit zip code pin points on a map. The Distance can be displayed on the map, screen or on your spreadsheet. You can also get the distance between 2 columns of zip codes on your spreadsheet, Mapland displays the distance in the 3rd column. Another feature includes plotting only 5 digit zip code pin points within a given Mileage.

The distance measured is based on the pin point centroid location and on "as the crow flies" not driving. This feature works with Excel versions 2000 and up.
