Adding City Centroids to Mapland gives you the capability to display pin point locations by City. You can use MapLand's Pin Map feature to display city names and/or customer locations. This Geographic Workbook contains over 50,000 USA City Centroid locations.
With Mapland you can use the Distance tool to measure the Distance in Miles/kilometers between two city pin points on a map. The Distance can be displayed on the map, screen or on your spreadsheet. Another feature includes plotting only city pin points within a given Mileage.
The distance measured is based on the pin point centroid location. The feature works with Excel versions 2000 and up.
